i've finally managed to catch the matrix reloaded. and then i can see how so many want to watch it a second time.
the first time, you're just dazzled by the action. the second, it's because you were STILL dazzled by the action by the time the lengthy dialogue sessions rolled around, that you couldn't grasp the thought behind the movie, the philosophy created by the Wachowskis. (by the way the music played during the credits had this 'wachowski' riff to it... or was i the only one who noticed?)
then we begin to think if this sort of thought-provoking movie can actually be fully comprehended by the masses.
good thing they have the flashy moves and everything else in an action movie that 'duh' couch potatoes like
else they'd be playing to a theatre empty save for nerds like moi (yeah i've been called that several times and i guess i'll accept that title) and lucoos who's actually taken the pains to memorise the script (thus tagging me with an architect quote on the right) and to dissect the theory of causality. whoooomph.
well. another weekend's flashed by, and before ya know it, june'll be around. it's just another draggy monday is all.
oh yeah. forgot to add this in.
i got accepted by SMU for Business Management! ",)
now i'm just waiting for NUS to hurry hurry tell me yes or no so i can start agonizing. I applied for NUS Arts.
hey what do the public say? NUS or SMU?
thought for the day: i wrote this because i
