call me crazy, but i love the sky.
it's always there (duh)
and one of the most unique feelings in the world is to lie
flat on the ground and have absolutely nothing between you and the heavens
a feeling of how vastly insignificant you are
and a peculiar otherworldy feeling of exactly what's out there beyond the bluegreyblack
the lightning the thunder that pounds the clouds into shapes
and whether your thoughts can be heard by something, someone else
it's just too sad that here we miss out on the star-filled skies.
and more often than not our vision's obscured by talltall buildings, no 360-degree scope for
us singaporeans, no.
just look up, look up once in a while
and remember we share this same sky.
