we sit here laptops side by side in the living room, eating instant noodles (they call it ramen over here). well, half of us are finally in singapore and the other half are still in the states... weeweechen, momofai, shashapoon, see you next tuesday, sorely missing you guys! mil and i went iceskating today with joie and her mom, my third ever time in my whole life. i was painfully reminded of why i don't want to iceskate.... it wasn't falling because i only fell once today. it was the blisters... and my oddly shaped and bumped feet that hurt when they're encased in unyielding plastic. hmm.

so yeah, moving on. because i feel like making lists, because it's my 21st birthday soon and i won't have a 21st birthday ever again, because i've never posted a wishlist up before, because i'm feeling sort of materialistic, humour me with reading the next few paragraphs. you don't have to do anything about it, but if you want to, you can post an anonymous tag saying that book or something else is taken. haha. or bought. or booked. that's funny. and i'm weird.

okay. the next list has to do with movies i've watched ever since arriving in the states. it's quite a colossal list. i remember every one of those experiences, and thank you greatly if you were the warm one by my side to take part in the spectacle. the bulk of these i didn't have to pay for, the rest ranged from a buck to 8 dollars. only a few i wouldn't recommend. like napoleon because it was brain-damaging, and in cold blood because it was severely depressing and monotonous. some people may call this list a huge waste of time, but in my opinion, it was an education of filmic proportions.

august 2014. how time flies! i still feel like i have so much more growing up to do. :)

funny how life changes forever with the most miniscule of happenings. the startled meeting of two surreptitious glances in the mirror, the sudden dangled offering of purchase of free flight. the thin results slip, the inconspicuous admissions letter. the bad phone call, a moment's folly of taking advantage of someone. the last thoughtless caustic remark that pushes a strained friendship over the edge. i love/hate life. and i know it's a loan.
