had we but world enough, and time

let's see now. no photographs this time, sorry. but decided to update my blog because all of a sudden, here's people tagging me :) and i guess it's rather motivation enough to give yall some more of my own carpcrap to read.

so many things have been happening these days. resume-writing, anticipation of a summer doing a proper job and earning money towards that grad trip that i'm longingly looking forward to already in the midst of this heathumidity and the incessant drone of the parents and the lack of privacy (is there anywhere else i can be? no! why? hannah has no money..... and this all rhymes dunnit). sad i couldn't go for normypoo's birthday celebration on wednesday night because i had to work at ucc.. i think yall from penn state should see pictures on mil's and norman's blog soon :) okay. where're we.... oh yes. i've been getting quite a few letters from all over the world and would like to take this post to try and reach out to you guys and gals wherever you are. :)

yeemeybaby, yeah you can come and visit anytime you want! just tell me a few weeks in advance okay? and if i do manage to find a full-time job i may only be able to bring you around on weekends. i don't mind coming up to malaysia myself if that's possible ;P and will jessica be around too? i miss thon, and the snow, and the wonderful days of winter solitude without parents barging into your room without so much as a can-i-come-in. tell jessica hi, that i never can get her online (she always has to run off to class), tell jiwon i never see her on msn either but that i miss her very much. tell jinny that i've heard from the guys about her possible-coming to singapore if she gets that summer job, and that i'm looking forward to seeing her again too! maybe you gals can even coordinate to come to singapore together and we'll all go out and have a rocking good time. no dime a drink nights though. sucks. hahaaa XD

jinny and jiwon, i don't get to talk to you gals much on msn nowadays but bogosipposo all the same :) jinny, remember that broadway musical we watched? the producers is coming out on hollywood film... go catch it!

bohdan and angie.. it's so exciting that you guys are finally putting together plans to come down here... be warned that it's extreme tropical weather though. so just bring a stash of shorts, tshirts and swimwear... flipflops/sandals are de rigueur for all campus kids here. i'll send you my shopping list soon haha. get me this game called cranium? i think they only sell it in the states and it's really quite fun :) get the booster packs of cards too if they have those. oh, and they have pepperidge farm goldfish crackers so don't worry about those.. oooh but i remember those uncle sam's toffee crunch cookies from walmart!!! eeeks okay i'd better stop here before i load you guys with too many things such that your suitcases sound packed without clothes in them already...

barry apparently can't read this post because he's stuck in china and they block any link that has a blogger/blogspot in the address... apparently he's been a faithful reader all these (okay, only 3) years and now he's working in shanghai. hooked him up with kenneth and the rest of the NUS students there right now, hope they all hit it off and make fast friends. it's always nice to meet someone from home in a faraway land.

lynn's at mannheim at the moment and your place, darling, looks gorgeous to the max. clean and pristine and big! hopefully all your roommates are nice people and don't give you trouble. we all know how BAD roommates can be, don't we mimi? also, i like how your posts are BURSTING with photographs... haha if you're amused so easily by the milkcream that comes with hot cocoa.. think you're going to have a blast laughing your way through exchange. take care dear, good to know that you're safe and enjoying yourself.

last, but not least, i'm gonna advertise. yeah people always say i never tell them i'm performing. so i guess this might be the last public performance, since i might quit the jazzband when i'm in my last year of school so as to focus on studies. if you don't go, i won't ask why, but don't say i didn't tell you about the concert. jazzband's going to perform at the cultural centre in NUS on the 26th of march, a sunday night. it's the last night of the arts festival that's been happening on campus every weekend.. it rocks with all the flashy bright colourful decor and especially that cool doorway framed with retro square lights. anyways, it's 8pm on that sunday and it's 10 dollars a ticket. i have tons of tickets to sell so please get them from me! so far people're still busy trying to get kakis to go and watch with them, and only gillian's been sHO wonderful to buy 5 from me :) gail and ron, kim and jackson, are you going to go? pleeeeeease. hahahaa :)

one last joke - how little kids can distort songs.. my lil bro thought destiny's child 'lose my breath' sounded like this (we were in an ALDO shoe store) "when you give birth... to a baby boy... you make me lose my breath' O_o

okay. better sleep now. miss you who aren't here in singapore SUFFERING with the rest of us.

august 2014. how time flies! i still feel like i have so much more growing up to do. :)

funny how life changes forever with the most miniscule of happenings. the startled meeting of two surreptitious glances in the mirror, the sudden dangled offering of purchase of free flight. the thin results slip, the inconspicuous admissions letter. the bad phone call, a moment's folly of taking advantage of someone. the last thoughtless caustic remark that pushes a strained friendship over the edge. i love/hate life. and i know it's a loan.
