 the only way we know how to rock well i'm leaving for hongkong via malaysia air in exunckly 6 hours' time.. and as hihothederryndo says, too much singapore is bad for health, which i totally agree. you'll feel stifled and suffocated, and you need a good dose of otherworldly air for your patriotism to come flying its flighty way back. i'm bringing my cellphone and my laptop in any case, which will let me fit right in with the hongkong tech crowd (wireless access in my hotel's lounges and restaurants!), and i just can't wait to be wearing winter stuff again. i realise i lent out lots of my clothes to people going away either on exchange or on winter holidays, and that's why i don't have some thick tops or winter sweaters, but oh well. this means i'm forced to be a lighter traveler. let's see. my mind sorta doesn't quite work right now, maybe it's due to the excessive exposure to paint fumes from my room renovations (yes, i've actually got a visual sign of progress that i accomplished something great this holiday), and so let's talk in chunked sentences. i'm feeling a bit sue bridesheady, in search of new, damning doom-laden experiences, but what the heck, life's short, play hard, and stop when it gets soft, like the play chest nuts says. it was hilarious but it made me realise how out of the theatre scene i've been this year. the film history of violence was just that... violent and the ending left me perplexed. visited two lounges the past two weeks - the balcony and loof... loof's way better and there's a sweet night scenery what with the christmas lights all along raffles city and chimes. didn't much like the balcony dj that night. i'm going to miss the ministry of sound opening and the fantastic suria sunday night screening :) but other than that, yup, no biggie being away for a week. think kim and gail are meeting up in korea sometime soon as well. korea - reminds me of jiwon and jinny, bogosipposo you two! uh, yeah. that should be about it till i have more to say in hongkong. bye yall. juice.susceptible had time to talk trash at 12:53 AM

august 2014. how time flies! i still feel like i have so much more growing up to do. :)
funny how life changes forever with the most miniscule of happenings. the startled meeting of two surreptitious glances in the mirror, the sudden dangled offering of purchase of free flight. the thin results slip, the inconspicuous admissions letter. the bad phone call, a moment's folly of taking advantage of someone. the last thoughtless caustic remark that pushes a strained friendship over the edge. i love/hate life. and i know it's a loan. archiveblog.
